My Themes

Up until recently my works mainly revolved around visualizing the ancient teachings of Feng Shui and in experimenting with the effects of this Chinese philosophy’s symbolism, energy flow and color energy on us. Work for a reforestation- and orangutan rescue program in Borneo, however, caused an inner shift. The region’s ecological destruction and its impact on the locals, the ecosystem and on global warming, caused me to take a new turn and begin to use visual arts to address environmental- as well as social issues.

My Work

My works are a kaleidoscope of different cultures. My style is experimental and playful, where mixed media, embedded messages, color and even childrens' drawings merge to form patchworks and vibrant scenes out of everyday life.
